About Thulla Champions

Thulla Champions is a free online version of Thulla, also called Bhabhi or Bhabi: the trick-taking card game that families across Pakistan and India play around a table. It runs in your browser, and an Android app is coming.

Why it exists

Thulla Champions is an independent project by Abdul Rauf. The idea is simple: bring the card game we grew up playing to every phone and browser, with clear rules, real friends and a table that feels alive. There is no publisher or studio behind it: one person designs, builds and runs the game and this website.

What you can do in the game

Fair play

Online matches are run on our server. The server shuffles and deals the cards randomly and checks every move, so nobody can peek at hands or play an illegal card. You can read exactly how a round works on the rules page, and we publish the same rules in the game so everyone at a table plays by one set.

Coins and diamonds are not money

Coins and diamonds are game items. They have no cash value, cannot be cashed out and cannot be sent to other players for money. Entry fees and prizes at a table are in coins only. Thulla Champions is not a gambling site.

How the project is paid for

The game is free to play. Running a game server costs money, so it is supported by ads and by optional purchases such as removing ads or buying extra coins and diamonds. Advertising is described in our privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.

About the guides on this site

The guides are written by Abdul Rauf from the way the game is actually played and built, including the exact rules the game enforces. Thulla is a folk game with many house rules, so we say clearly which rules apply here and do not present them as the only correct ones. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
